Cancer Care in India

Our Mission

Cancer care in India is navigable, but very little explains how to navigate it. The clinical information is written for clinicians. The cost information is written by sellers. The practical information, how to get a trial slot, what a biopsy report means, which scheme covers chemotherapy, is mostly passed hand to hand.

India Cancer Guide exists to write that down.

What we are trying to do

Make the practical steps explicit. The hardest part of treatment is often procedural rather than clinical: which test comes first, which registry to search, what to bring, who signs what. We document the steps.

Put the numbers next to the claims. A response rate without its toxicity figure is marketing. A cost without a date is a guess. We publish both halves.

Say where the evidence runs out. Oncology has strong data for some subgroups and thin data for others, and most trials were not run in Indian populations. Naming that gap is more useful than writing around it.

Stay readable under stress. People read this while frightened and short of time. That rules out padding, hedging and sales language.

What success looks like

Someone reads one page, understands the decision in front of them, and walks into a consultation with three better questions than they had an hour earlier. That is the whole aim.

What we are not

We are not a hospital, a referral service or a second-opinion provider, and we take no fee for pointing anyone anywhere. We are not a substitute for an oncologist. We publish information. Your clinician makes decisions with you.
